A History of Innovation
Pacom Systems was founded in 1983 with pioneering technology that allowed security communications to be successfully transmitted transparently on a customer's existing data (SNA, X.25, etc.) network.
Customers could use existing infrastructure to run their security system, providing significant operational cost savings, and unmatched functionality and reliability. The system was robust enough to be trusted by global financial institutions immediately with the first major install negotiated late in 1983.
Now with over 25 years of R&D since our inception, we have continued to develop innovative technologies and hold global patents on a number of core products.

| 2001 | Pacom Systems Pty Ltd (name changed) establishes a USA office in Sarasota, Florida |
| 1999 | Bell Security is floated on the London Stock Exchange as Bell Group plc. Pacom changes its name to Pacom Bell Pty Ltd |

| 1996 | Management buy-out - Pacom Data Pty Ltd becomes independent of Pacific Communications |
