Pacom Systems open European Distribution Centre

Pacom Systems is pleased to announce the opening of a distribution centre in Antwerp Belgium, dedicated to serving the stock requirements of Value Added Resellers (VARs) in the European region. The distribution centre commenced order fulfilment activities on the 1st April 2008 and is an important element in Pacom's commitment to providing responsiveness and flexibility to support the expanding European operations where sales offices and dedicated technical specialists have recently been established. President of Pacom Systems UK & Northern Europe Region, Andrew Minnikin, is pleased with the improvement to the company's supply chain process as a result of the centre's opening. "As part of the services provided by the new distribution centre, orders will now be shipped directly to VARs removing the need for freight and customs clearance activities previously the responsibility of the VAR" said Minnikin. "This will reduce the time and effort required in product delivery, and provides a strong foundation for increased implementation of Pacom product throughout Europe" said Minnikin. "Pacom Systems will continue to refine the distribution model to meet the changing needs of their partners in Europe and throughout the world to ensure product is readily available to support the growing adoption of the Pacom solution" said Minnikin.
