What Is RSS
RSS is a free and easy way to subscribe to online news and websites that allows you to pull only content you want down to your computer, instead of having to actively go out and visit sites online. New information is immediately pulled directly to the user as soon as new content is posted. RSS is a great way to manage all the various sources we read every day in a more efficient and logical way.
Using RSS, consumer and business users are creating their own 'ecosystem' of content that they can view when and how they want. RSS feeds are typically managed through a free tool called a 'reader', the most popular of which can web-only or can be integrated into your web browser or email program.
